Sometimes I look in the mirror I be like damn
I’m glad I had to struggle cause that turned me to a man
I’m glad I ain’t depressed cause I don’t know if I can stand
That so to the ones that are you stronger than I am

Took a minute but Im developing a feel for this
Battling demons see anxiety freezing me
Society beating me I feel my privacy leaving me
But that’s all I really want, I’m becoming anti social
And I don’t like it one bit, lookin for acceptance in my mobile
Phone, leave me alone and let me get inside my zone
As I work on this EP I really like to be on my own
The last 3 years been different from anything I’ve ever known
Chasing this dream, I’m starting to feel at home

Why is it human nature to always want to feel accepted
Break free from the cycle don’t recycle the routine
Don’t let stress weigh on you and conquer the mood swings
There’s no positivity up on my TV screen
So I focus on the music and let the money come to me
But right now, I’m about as broke as it gets
Paycheck to paycheck searching for freedom with the pen
Lookin around at my peers wonder-in who’s genuine
