Gorging on the Feast

Holding the eye behind all the things that it saw
Here always waiting for the meanings to dissolve
Erased the evidence you feared would block the way
Diminished, emptied out, devoid of form and shape

Then the confusion brings the fire to the door
And all the fear inside forgets what it is for
It all comes spilling uncontained and uncontrolled
The remnants clinging to the edges of the fold

Stripping out of the sun, rays arе piercing the dark
Below thе basement, a melted star
And the smoke lingers on, spreading over the years
Covering the surviving fears

Harness the stimulation groping through your mind
And still the sympathy will always be denied
The empty fingers wave and beckon from beyond
Reaching to pull you always further on along

Another mutiny, another empty curse
Always designing a collision in reverse
It's crushing through the guardrail, rolling down the hill
And then it's stuck in time, infinitely still
And we're limping along, still staying alive
All the scenery passing by

And then the vacancy takes over in the end
The lack of crisis leaves no reason to pretend
There was no miracle, no magical release
And now you're here again gorging on the feast
