Here this morning two officers are injured
After fighting with a suspect who had a loaded handgun
All taking place in Buffalo
Police tell us they arrested 23 year old Demetrius Jackson
Near Herdle and Sterling Avenues yesterday around 3:30pm
We're told the officers pulled over a vehicle Jackson was riding in
And then he and the driver fled from the scene
Leadеrs say the officers chased aftеr Jackson
And he pointed that loaded gun at the officers
A fight then broke out before police were able to get him into handcuffs
The officers were treated for various injuries at ECMC
Jackson is now facing multiple charges
Which include menacing an officer, drug and weapons possession
The driver of the vehicle is still on the run
