Behold The Lamb Of God
It is I who need you, and yet you come to me.
I must grow smaller, so you will increase.
God said, "This is my Beloved Son,
With whom I am well pleased."
So this joy of mine has been made complete.
I was buried with you in the water,
But I rose again gasping to take a new breath.
Drowned by your grace on the altar,
I drink of your cup, I drink of your death.
Behold the Lamb of God
Behold the Lamb of God
Who takes away the sin of the world
Behold the Lamb of God
The veil shrouding heaven was torn from my eyes,
Then a waterfall of grace tumbled down from the sky.
The Spirit swirled round with wings white as a dove,
Descending upon the Father's Beloved.
We were buried with you in the water,
But we rose again gasping to take a new breath.
Drowned by your grace on the altar,
We drink of your cup, we drink of your death.
I am not worthy.
I am not worthy to touch your feet.
I am not worthy to receive you.
But only say the word and I shall be healed!
