Affannate a far parte di quel poco che rimane
Del sentiero che comunica tra lapidi e campagna
È il tuo spazio in questo cesso di città
La cappa che ti trascini dietro
L'impotenza mentre cerchi il sorpasso
È il tuo marchio catastale da mandria urbana
Il gusto acido che incombe da palazzi ben disposti
Anche a distanza mi distrugge sentirlo
Anche senza impulsi continuo a odiarlo

Asti like eyes amongst its little cells
Its lives in half-darkness reorganized with hardship
Scrambling to be part of the little that remains
Of the path leading from the headstones to the country
It's your space in this cesspit of a town
The pall you drag behind you
The impotence as you try to overtake
It's the municipal brand on you, the urban herd
The acid taste that looms on tidy rows of buildings
Even when I'm far away, it kills me to hear it
