This Way Forever
15 had her first drink of beer
Came stumbling home, left her parents in fear
At 16 she learned how to drive
Left off for parties every single night
She came home with her eyes ruby red
Went straight up the stairs and went to bed
At 17, she brought home a man
And the night was filled with lust as he held down her hands
At 18, she left for good
Her parents hoped that maybe now she understood
At 19, shе had nowhere to go
The guy shе met had left her, she was on her own
At 20, in a desperate plan
She bought a lingerie with the money she had
And at night, she would stand on the streets
Praying that this little sin would make ends meet
It’s been this way forever
It’s been this way forever
It’s been this way forever
It’s been this way-
This is my call to arms
And my warning to everyone
Even when the night is young
Your life isn’t something you want to run from
Chances are inevitable
But they can take a toll
So don’t sacrifice what you have
Cause you’ll only end up feeling hollow and alone
