The Man Made of Nothing

Is my head just a shadow to you?
Or a sphere made of glass that you look right through?
Do you ever think before your words?
Cause yours hurt the most

I’m surrounded by my opposites
But these ones don’t attract
Every single time I try to swing
The punch comes back

What’s my difference, why are you mad?
I want to be heard, not pushed away like a fad
But everytime I speak you just nod and go on
With the other in the room, am I just a pawn?

Every idea, thought, and creation I’ve made
All you do is laugh and shoo me away
I feel helplеss, lost, trapped, ignored
How about you go ahead and hurt mе some more?

Did I ever do anything wrong to you?
Did you think anything about me through?
Am I just your weak little punching bag
That you can think nothing of, like an old dirty rag?

I’ve had enough with the way you view all my plans
I’m human too, from my very own hands
To my heart, to my soul, to my mind, to myself
Please stop pretending that I’m somebody else
