Waning Moon

The moon is up and it's waning
I guess about a half remaining
The stars are out and they're shining
Fading in and out, reminding
The clouds are high and they're wispy
Just enough to make you miss me
We both look up at the night sky
I'll do my best to be the nice guy

Now everywhere I turn
There's another thing to learn

The streets are full and they're bustling
Everybody here is hustling
I'm always late but you know that
I'm hoping there will be no blow-back
The cafe's cute, like a movie
It doesn't take a lot to move me
I'm quick to tears but they're happy
I'm always yours if you'll still have me
