A Ring In My Head

Clayton Corley

Stuck in a lane, they question my courage the same
I know I've been gifted before
Eyes on the truth, got silence for fruit
I aint show that I've been in a war
Righteous when pressuring forces
Been making my moves with a roar
Time is what's precious, I'm dormant
Chasing a fire I aint lit in a score
The violence presented when born, thank God I was meeting the shores
By five I was feeling some hopeless, 'miring walls and the floor
Most worry bout meeting the morgue, my mind it been glued to the potion
Substance and fighting, you know my head aching more
Tryna piece all of whats broken
And I don't know if Im'a get it for sure

As of late, I've been clinging to the mission and work
The change of ways got me peering skies feeling deserted
My mental break and now the lead seen skipping his turn
I feel adjourned and now I wait put, pleading with Earth
With numbered days, I'm tryna forth mine
25 Milly the worth
Atleast we aint break inside them fires maybe its nerve
I dream of church 'cause I don't pray
Most of times, I just eat what I learn
My stomach caves and know the ties fight kept me assured
While I chief, multiply them cries
Maybe you heard
As of late Ive been clinging to the mission and work
So keep 'em safe, foggy memories I leave on my shirt
Another day, broken dreams got me feeling astray
I speak the worst, its what I'm used to
