Cold lessons of a season's frown like something in the wind
Took the kinder words out of my mouth and left me with a rage
Left me with the rage

And I'm sure the chords went something like this
I don't know if I can sing them like I did before
Or if can feel them anymore

The warm days that I thought would always abound slowly turned to grey
Those fair seasons that I thought would keep tumbling out no longer came to be
The hardest truths to learn are the ones that cannot remain
The darkest thought is that the ones who we cant live without, we'll never see again

But I know that voice felt something like this
And the thought of her was something like bliss
And I'm not sure if I had ever felt that way before
