God’s Sandbox

We wonder why there’s so many up above
But we ignore all the signs from above
How ironic are we, as a world of wrongful nations
We spit on each other, pushed to the dirt
All the pain builds up within
And you fall into the endless spiral of questions

There’s no need for you to question
You’ve already been told the answer
Your curiosity could get you killed
Don’t you know this is a dangerous field?

You’re playing in God’s sandbox
This is his place, this is his work
Don’t even try to question him, it doesn’t work

In this limited universe
We don’t even know it
You try to reinterpret every verse

Let him stretch out space
And reveal it to us as we reveal it by ourselves
There’s no way we can understand
The great complexity that forms by his hand

The stars in the sky are grains of sand
In his sandbox, they cover all of creation
Yet we’re buried beneath all the sand
And we are his greatest treasure
