At the Edge of the World
At first glance it looks so lonely
A vast white plain streatching out like glass
But they don't see what we see when we look inside it
The water rushing to the past
At the edge of the world rising out of the snow like a kind of frozen cathedral
There is mother of pearl linning blankets of ice at the edge of the world
And no one knows what it's like on the clear blue ocean
Along the shadows of ice on the deep blue sea
From the peak it's an icy desert
The wind howling over the plain is the only life
The water covering the snow with it's lonely light cutting through the sleepy ice
At the edge of the world there's a watery light that is filtering down from the heavens
There's a level below every world that you know at the edge of the world
And no one knows what it's like on the clear blue ocean
Along the shadows of ice on the deep blue sea
