Serenity
In lies I look for shelter, to catch my breath again
'Cause the rain dies before touching the ground
That ship wrecked long time ago
Waiting for a change
So what if it destroys us in the end?
Profane, naive, obssesive
We all get murdered by the lack of perspective and the tirany of pride
Whispers consume the air and soon this will be over
Captive, sullen and isolated in night's voracity
I will find a place for tomorrow
To kill all the reasons you havе
You left the faint dawn as a ghost
That now only reflеcts timidly in the rearviewmirror
Because you're running away from it
The kaleidoscope gives birth a fragmented reality
You have nothing, just yearning, on your knees
With the head cutted off by the horizon
Soil devours your spirit and you won't be able to unearth it
Because you don't know where to look 'cause you don't even know what you've lost
I will find a place for tomorrow
To kill all the reasons you have
All hope is gone
You praise progress but you dream no more
And so my life has moved on without me
There's no great apocalypse, just an endless march
Of little personal annihilations made for each one of us
We build our homes with grey walls, giving us refuge and strength
Walls divide us, walls define us
The ones to fear the most, the ones we believe in
I will find a place for tomorrow
To kill all the reasons you have
All hope is gone
You praise progress but you dream no more
Now that serenity is back
